I cannot begin to express my gratitude to Santanas Funeral Home on 5352 Katy Fwy. When my mom was in hospice, I knew nothing about funeral arrangements. I was referred to Santana’s by the hospice agency social worker. She guided me to them and through her, I obtained info on different funeral homes but being an only daughter, I was on a budget. A budget that Santana fulfilled. I did not expect much cuz sometimes you get what you pay for. But I’m happy that it was not the case here. Starting with the two individuals that picked up my mom from my home after she died, they were very nice and handled the whole process with care. They were very gentle with my moms body. Now, the location: The outside was not all that great, I even joked with Lidu that the sign could use a make over among other things, but the inside was very nice. It was comfortable and clean. I was actually pleasantly surprised. Now, where do I begin with LIDU, the coordinator, she made the whole process very pleasant. She was caring, funny, understanding, informative and made me feel like family. She even gave me a wonderful idea of keepsakes with my moms hair, I would’ve never thought of that. I wasn’t thinking period but she kept me on track of every next step I needed to do. Lidu, I’ll never forget your kindness. And I cannot even begin to express my gratitude with Mr. Santana, the owner, he was so understanding and empathetic. He went above and beyond for us in so many ways. For example, my mom was a very traditional woman and she wanted to be buried in her wedding dress, Mr. Santana was able to get my mom a white hearse which I appreciated because it fit her perfectly. She was Queen till the end. I did not have much interaction with Peter but he was also very pleasant. The hearse driver Sandy was also very pleasant and genuinely cared, he handled my moms coffin with care. Overall, I would definitely recommend Santana’s. I have zero complaints about them. From beginning to end, they treated my mom and us with the upmost care and respect.

We are grateful to Ludi Tellez for providing our family with all the information and assistance we needed following the sudden death of a member of our family. You have not only been professional but have also been personally involved in ensuring our needs were met. We thank you for all the support you offer. You are such a kind soul, we appreciate everything you do, and it speaks volumes because you are the kind of person that makes the place you are in feel like the place to go. From the first time I called Santana Funeral Home the owner Santana was able to arrange an appointment immediately the same night and was very respectful. LIDU, the service coordinator provides EXCELLENT customer service and makes everything 1,000 % less stressful during difficult times! She’s always available to answer any questions and assist in anything related to the funeral. She was a blessing to work with.
