Family members of mine had an unfortunate passing of their 15yr old son. I had the privilege of interacting with the funeral home team members. I was grateful for their gentleness and empathy for my sister and her family. Particularly one staff member, a woman, but I unfortunately forgot her name. She was kind, explained things in a way that wasn’t harsh or direct, kept an open mind, and offered my sister and her husband many different options from start to finish. I loved that, considering that they have never had to bury someone before and had to be so involved in the process. Although the circumstances were difficult and heavy, she lightened the load by being constantly available for any questions, concerns, and changes. We are very grateful.

Well, I am always very skeptical of anywhere that has all 5-star ratings, but this place earns it. Katie, Drew, Shane and the whole crew at STMVFH really came through for us when my dad passed away suddenly. I was actually going to go with the funeral home that had conducted my mom's funeral, but, after reading reviews stating that they are not a great as they once were, I decide to take another look. I was immediately impressed with everyone at STMVFH. They were personable, responsive, genuinely sympathetic, thorough and speedy when it was necessary. STMVFH is a satellite of Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery in Mesa, and it really works out for them because they have the resources and experience of a larger, busier funeral home but they also really have that small funeral home personal touch. It really helps that they are still family-owned because I found through my research that so many of previously-great funeral homes have been bought out by large corporations. Because of this, make sure to look at the most recent reviews when researching funeral homes. Do not hesitate to put your trust in the team at STMVFH!

My dad passed away a couple weeks ago. My mom and I are so thankful for Drew. Going through this difficult time Drew was compassionate, very patient and his personality was so heartfelt. He made us feel at ease and took care of everything for us. I would definitely recommend this place
