The staff at Samart Houma are nothing short of amazing! They prepared and took care of my daughter and her boyfriend who passed away in July, they were both only 18 years old. They made such a tragic time in our lives so much easier, they were supportive, very detailed and never missed a beat. I can’t imagine what our losses would have been like without their effortless kindness. Caroline was our funeral director and Mindy was behind the scenes helping throughout the service. My experience with Samart was not good. After speaking with Sarah LaRose about a burial plot for my mother and brother, she stated that she would email the details later in the day. Then after 5PM she emailed stating that she was unable to do anything that day, but would get it done the next day. It's been 3 days and have yet to hear from her, even though we sent a return email requesting an update.

While the entire staff worked tirelessly to ensure that our Soldier, Cullen Beeson’s funeral went as seamlessly as possible, their professionalism and attention to detail surpassed our fondest expectations. One staff member, Glen, worked tirelessly to work alongside me as I performed the duties as the military escort. I couldn’t have asked for a more knowledgeable, caring, and empathetic professional as I obsessed with every detail to ensure my Soldier received the highest of honors and care. I have interacted with many funeral homes throughout my career and Samart outpaces them all.
