I have appreciate my association with Mount Vernon's professionalism and humanity in dealing with my loved one's passing. My parents set up there final repose with them. It was so helpful that my parents had set it up. However, the staff were even more impressive with the detail, the knowledge, and patience they showed when we had so many questions. When my brother unexpectedly passed, Mt Vernon was exceptional in providing last minute services for us, working with us and other agencies. I highly recommend Mt Vernon for their knowledge, their attention to detail, for not attempting to "sell" us packages but presenting options, and for the staff's exceptional demeanor.

I never imaged I'd be writing a review after a funeral, but I feel like this person needs to be recognized for the impact she has made. It started when we came to set up my Aunt's memory table and this sweet lovely girl, named Lisa came down and explained that we had full range to create the memorial table that we envisioned. Her energy made my whole family feel so comfortable, in a very uncomfortable situation. We were so scared of what this process was going to be like and we were so pleasantly surprised by the amount of smiles and laughter Lisa brought out of us. She was so quick to come up with extra things that would enhance my Aunt's service, like an entire playlist to be played during her service! She was so attentive and helpful, and I can tell it's because she genuinely cares. Lisa has forever changed my outlook on the grief process and I am so incredibly grateful that our family was blessed with her.
