The kind and compassionate people of Rush Funeral Home have always been there at our family's time of need. They are very considerate, conscientious, and professional at all times, yet, they are also just everyday, plain, down to earth people who know how to relate to the feelings of others. They really do care and it shows. We are very thankful for the kind folks of Rush Funeral Home.

Mr. Dauzat at Rush showed my family and I no importance and no compassion today. I believe there was an initial conception about what he could expect based on the idea that he thought we were just doing a cremation, but this was false as I was actually looking for full service. Mr. Dauzat showed up late to our appointment, sat us down in his office for 15 minutes while he took a phone call, spoke very bluntly, and then also repeated to take another phone call five minutes into speaking with us as if our meeting was of no importance. I was so upset by the unprofessional manner, that we stepped outside, and I called another funeral home right there on the spot to book a service. To add insult to injury, Mr Dauzat was clearly not ok with our decision and proceeded to try to strong-arm us into a forced proposal with him stating “ well, there’s a 35 hour limit beyond passing. If the deceased isn’t gone today, then we’ll embalm them and charge you 2 grand.” Fortunately we found a facility that was happy to come pick my mother up immediately. Mr Dauzat then proceeded to badmouth the individual that was coming. This was beyond unprofessional. How dare Rush treat people in this manner during their time of suffering. May god judge him! Amen

October 17, 2022, was the worst day of my life. My siblings and I had to face the passing of our father. Robbie and his team showed the Benedict family so much love, respect, honor, and compassion. Without the support and help of the Rush Funeral Home staff, I personally, do not know how I would have been able to face this past week. Thank you Mr. Robbie and your staff.
