Funeral for my Dad. Service and all coordination with the regular staff was great. The problem arose when after all was said and done the family received a bill for the sign language interpreter that was required to accommodate a deaf member of the immediate family. The excuse give was because the service was held off site then that facility is responsible for arranging for the interpreter (no one told this information up front). If the funeral home knew in advance that someone else should pay that bill that information should have been provided to the family. It was not. When calling and talking the owner about the issue he became extremely rude. Honestly it is not even about the money - it falls on poor coordination of who should be paying and extremely bad customer service on the part of the owner. The rest of the staff were great.

How do you tell a woman who lost her man of 20 years 6 hours ago that you will take her home and car if she's doesnt pay you right away? Classy... Really classy. Poor excuse, and lack of compassion.
