Pridgen funeral home did an excellent job taking care of my brother’s family during a difficult time. Mrs. Tuawana and the entire staff were available to the family throughout the entire process. Unfortunately, we will all have the need for funeral services during life’s journey. We need to make sure that we choose a staff that will give our loved ones the dignity and respect they deserve and to help handle some of the tasks that go on when laying a beloved to rest. I would like to say Pridgen has just that kind of staff. They helped us from day one till the very end of my brother’s funeral. Whatever the ‘ask,’ they honored the request within measure. They are so professional, from the onset of when you walk through their doors, the empathy and sincere compassion is shown starting with the receptionist to Mrs. Pridgen and staff. I cannot speak highly enough about the care and service we received from Pridgen Funeral home. So, for now, on behalf of the Kennedy family, I commend them and pray they will continue to extend the same excellent services to others as they did to us.

When I started writing this post, I was not sure where to begin. Especially since we are at the start of this process. Thus, I started with Tuawanna Pridgen whose professionalism is second to none. She provided immediate responses and sensitivity at the impending loss of my aunt with clear instructions on next steps. When I lost my aunt, who was like a mom to me, I reached out to Pridgen. As a family we were not sure what facility the family would use. However, I am SO happy Pridgen was the choice. Furthermore, even though everything pretty much just happened and decisions are still being made, I had to acknowledge the person who picked up my aunt. I only regret I cannot remember his name. This young man handled her as if she were HIS family. His respect and professionalism did not stop there. The young gentleman demonstrated a tremendous amount of respect for the fact I was there witnessing the final honor walk for my auntie. As we continue to plan through the process, I am happy and grateful Pridgen is in our corner.
