My mother passed away on July 3rd, 2023. Preddy was there for us from the time she passed. My family has used them for years and they are the best. Compassionate, Competent, and Accommodating, they are simply the best.

It's been 40 years that I've been visiting Preddy's in Orange. (And yes, I've been to others.) We have always been taken care of. My stepfather was cremated recently. Eddie, and Donnie Hughes are understanding and sympathetic. I've been to more than 20 services, military and civilian, at the Orange location. I have always been met with eye contact, kindly dispositions, and a good handshake. We've found consistent caring for decades. M.Scott

I was treated horribly by Eddie in the Orange location. My mother passed on March 12, 2019. There was no compassion and he was obviously most concerned with the financial aspects of the arrangements. He did not provide a procession, did not listen to our request regarding family night, and was outright rude to me when making final payment. We had a custom head liner ordered with names on a family tree. One of the names was spelt wrong and he made no effort to have it corrected when I pointed it out. In addition, the gravesite has sunk over a foot since the burial, and it has not been 2 weeks yet. This needs to be repaired. We received the death certificates in the mail without a simple note of sympathy or thank you for your business. Given the industry, I expected much better customer service. Unfortunately, Orange County does not have many options. If anyone is considering Preddys, use the Gordsonsville or Madison location.
