The service was beautiful, which is the most important part of the services offered at Owens. The coordination with the office needs improvement. Pertinent details aren’t well communicated by the staff, emails and call backs are not prioritized. Antiquated filing and intake were frustrating as well.

this place needs a make over. The sad thing all it takes is about 20 or 30k or less to make it look beautiful. It is dusty. it needs brightness, it needs better plaques, it looks like it's still in the 70's. Come on people. Hire a interior decorator.

Following the sudden death of my younger sister I had to select a funeral home to assist with the final arrangements, services and disposition of her bodily remains. Of all the losses I've endured her death is up there with the worst of them. It was important that I landed in the hands of unique professionals in the business of death and departure. Our circumstances were not completely unique because so many people lack life insurance for more reasons than irresponsibility, and Owens understands this complex yet financially burdensome problem within our community. When dealing with severe mental illness and drug addiction, life insurance for our family members is near impossible to secure - because Life Insurance is a business more than anything else. Mr. Owens and his wife worked closely with me and made it possible for me to hold a respectable service and traditional burial for my beloved sister. Securing a fine casket in the nick of time, preparing her body to look just like herself after severe trauma from injuries she sustained at death - are just a few of the miracles made possible during this experience. The staff members were all very helpful, kind, considerate, and sympathetic as well. I needed that family feeling and they gave it to me. Joe, one of the funeral directors at this location is also a gem, very professional and we appreciate being able to work with him during the service at the church, and while preparing for that big day. I can't thank Owens Funeral Home enough. It's been 2 weeks since the burial and as I reflect on the entire circumstance concerning my sister's departure - I couldn't have chosen a better funeral home to send her home to the Lord with... They helped me do it with so much professionalism, class, care and love. I hope they stay a staple in the community for years to come. Thank you Mr & Mrs Owens and Team.
