I am humbled and grateful to the kind souls at Pinehaven Funeral Home for guiding our family through an awful and unnatural grief, and the confusion of those things that must be done in such times that are yet so difficult to accomplish. There is an expectation that funeral home personnel will be compassionate in rendering service to the bereaved, sure, but a natural and sincere goodness of spirit rang through the words and the actions of Butch and all of the Pinehaven staff. Our burden was made more bearable not only for the assistance but for the genuine caring of people that seem to be meant for, called to their work and its service to others. Not from the area nor familiar with Pinehaven Funeral Home, I was referred by someone for whom Pinehaven had provided funeral services in the past. I had little choice but to trust the recommendation. That trust was well rewarded.
