Jim Pierre and everyone I encountered at Pierre Funeral Home were absolutely wonderful. I was planning a funeral from out of state as my mother's wishes were to be transferred from where she passed in Florida back to where her parents were buried in Evansville. Jim maintained constant contact with me and handled things that I would consider above and beyond his job title. He was compassionate and empathetic and made what was an awful event into something that came together as seamlessly as possible. He is definitely in the right field and I would recommend him to anyone in the area who needs his services.

My father passed away and Jim Pierre helped to make the experience both smooth and organized. Handling unseen details and keeping the process as painless as possible was of great help to me and my family. Communication was easy and its hard to state how comforting it is not to have to micromanage but to be led and only have to worry about our family grief.

Very compassionate, and didn't feel rushed or pressured into doing anything. We got 17 days before my dad passed to start planning, I would recommend family discussions of what they want to everyone if able!
