Most awful place to use for funeral services. My sister in law passed away in December 2023. The owner/ manager Andrew convinced her young kids to use the location and considering she died around the holidays, we were all concerned about getting her body from Los Angeles to Delano within the time allotted. Andrew gave her kids a date and said they could have the burial anytime after, including next day service. He lied to get the body placed at his business. I kept questioning the dates with her kids and was given permission by her son to follow up and make the arrangements. First time calling him I asked for him specifically Andrew and three times he said " can I help you" rather than identifying himself as Andrew. I found it odd and asked to speak to a supervisor. He then said " can I help you" again and do I asked if I needed to hang up and call back. Then he said " can I help you". I hung up and called back. Asked to speak to a supervisor and was told Andrew was the only person available. I told him I needed to make arrangements, he reported a privacy law, then I informed him he didn't need to utilize the law to give me open dates for the burial. I informed him we needed a meeting and he said he son would have to arrange it. When her son called, he said he would see him but not listen to me. I went to social media and was redirected to his mother. I called back next day and specifically asked for her and explained her son was very unprofessional and we needed a new representative. She reassigned us to someone new. And she was the only empathetic kind person there. I explained the interaction to her and she apologized several times. The night before viewing, my sister in laws two children and brother went to see her body and dress her. Upon arrival Andrew's mom asked for my name because she wanted to know who was complaining and then went on to share she told me something. Insinuating she told me off. Very unprofessional during a time they were mourning their mother. Upon firing the body an employee roughly handled her body in front of them and when her son asked if he could see her arms, the employee pulled her sheet down to her pelvis and exposed her to her son, daughter, and brother. A very traumatic experience for them all. They also report sure was not washed and her dressings were bloodied. The day of the vowing that same worker who exposed her was given necklaces for the ashes and mini urns. Two of those necklaces were never given back. This place is horrible for their unprofessional actions during a time of grief for Mt sisters family. May their business rott like their spirits.
