So far this funeral home gets a bad review from me. My cousin was taken there and when I called and asked I was told it was pending. Before my cousin passed she told me that she made and paid for her own arrangements and now I'm being told by another person she's being cremated which should not be the case. These people stole from her and now I believe they are trying to get a refund of what my cousin paid for and go the cheaper route and have her cremated and keep the money for themselves. I do know that other family of my cousin is prepared to sue this funeral home if my cousin doesn't get what she has already paid for! Shame on this funeral home for believing the lies of these money hungry people!

After using this funeral home for generations, my husband and his siblings had the worst experience while dealing with the loss of their mother. This is no longer owned by a local family. It has been sold off and the customer service from that sale shows. The person who called was rude and condescending. She told us that they would not pick up my mother in law from the hospital until we met with the funeral home, made the arrangements for her and paid the bill in full. They were basically holding my mother in law hostage until they ensured they were paid. Talk about disgusting. They were told not to even attempt to pick up my mother in law. My husband ended the call and shortly after got a call back from someone else seeing how they could earn back our business. Laughable! Train your staff properly, teach them empathy and how to talk to newly bereaved families. Also, get a clue. No other funeral home would hold a client to such absurd conditions. If you want to feel taken advantage of during your time of grief, then definitely go with them. If you want to feel taken care of and like your family/loved one matters, call Stier-Israel and ask for Don.

With an unexpected and sudden death of my mother, we went to Paquelet-Falk funeral home to make the arrangements. We met with Samantha and went over the details and planning of the funeral. My family had the most exceptional and wonderful experience working with Samantha. She was very professional and very caring throughout the entire process. I have utmost respect for what she does and how she handles the most difficult details. We did not have the funeral at Paquelet-Falk rather at our home town church. She was there for us from the cemetery to the church. I could give her 10 stars if I could. Highly recommend Samantha for your funeral needs.
