Every step was easy. All the staff a caring. John Frownfelter is exceptional. He was knowledgeable, kind and efficient. He made everything go smoothly.

My mother passed away Oct. 22, 2018, and I was not thinking the "assisted living" facility sent her body to "their" assigned funeral home. I must not have told them that I wanted the Overland Park Chapel on Metcalf to handle everything (not a good start for my ONLY mother's funeral) imagine my shock when I arrived at MY choice of funeral home/chapel and Mother was not there. Melanie, the funeral director, assured me they would bring Mother wherever I wanted her. Melanie, did not blink an eye and made me feel as this was not any type of problem. Melanie had a lovely, calming and caring aura, along with her compassionate professionalism I was very pleased. Melanie attended to ALL details and made it so easy. Then we had a small visitation where we had the opportunity and pleasure to work with the other consultants, Nell & Rod. What a true gift of compassion those two had! At a very emotional time in my life, the staff at OPC, were without a doubt the most accommodating and most wonderful people on this earth! At the first of the year I am going to return and set up my funeral plans. I could not ask for more perfect people to help with my plans.
