On July 2nd, 2024, my mom unexpectedly passed away this happened late into the evening hours and to say the least my brother and I were torn up about this. So here we were in Southfield, but my mom lives in Wixom and now were wondering what funeral home we should use. So, I started looking online and found O’Brien-Sullivan Funeral Home. I looked and read the reviews and felt comfortable with calling them. I called and the answering service said somebody would call me back. I ended up talking to John Copley who was very patient, understanding, and very helpful. This being the 4th of July week John kept in contact with us and we met with him on Friday. My mom wanted an open viewing and then wanted to be cremated. We had a short three-hour service for her on Saturday. During this whole time at the funeral home John never tried to sell us anything we didn’t want he made many suggestions, and we couldn’t have been happier knowing we were giving mom a good send off. John did the service for us in which I’m grateful for. It was a beautiful service. I liked the fact that John never rushed us, gave us space, and never tried to be a salesman. Instead, he was someone that showed compassion, and caring in our time of need. So, I would like to say thank you to John Copley and the O’Brien-Sullivan Funeral Home for your professional service.

OSFH was absolutely AMAZING in taking care of Mom and her final arrangements. They also were AMAZING in getting her from Novi to her final resting place in Ohio. The entire team at OSFH, including David, Anjelica, John and Bekah were absolutely OUTSTANDING for all our family's needs and took care of all the details seamlessly. They actually became part of our extended family during our time of need including making Mom look as beautiful as she ever was. We are so thankful to O'Brien-Sullivan funeral home. Funeral director John Copley did an outstanding job helping us with all of the arrangements. He did wonderful in assisting us with the obituary and making sure every detail was handled for my father in law. I would highly recommend this funeral home. We just want to thank him and the entire staff for making this process comforting at this sad time.
