WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! We were referred to visit O.W. Wiley mortuary and regret it to the fullest. If you DO NOT sign a contract and/or hand over money, Wiley and the slightly rude lady with the bun get really upset. Wiley will demand that you leave. My family experienced a horrible appointment with this funeral home. Prior to our appointment, Wiley was aware that the family was coming to view the funeral home and to discuss different packages. Well, after the bun wearing lady documented all the required information, she assumed that we were ready to lock them in with a contract and was ready to pay. We informed her that we had another appointment and that's when the disrespect and rudeness happened immediately. The bun lady walked out as if she was a toddler having a tantrum, Wiley came in without any greeting and totally disrespected a grieving mother. He did not have compassion and was upset because the mother wanted to view another local funeral home and compare her options. Once again, Wiley was aware of this prior to our visit that the mother wanted to see what he had to offer so she could go with her best option. He told us to "GET OUR STUFF AND GET OUT". He had not regards to her feelings, all he wanted was her money. If someone I love have to go through his funeral home, I will just have to miss it. O.W. Wiley need to understand that everybody have options. I hope you guys understand that everybody have options. Please do your research and DO NOT LET ANYBODY FORCE YOU INTO SIGNING ANYTHING, especially O. W. Wiley. He seems to be nice to those who pay him upfront. RUDE, TACTLESS, HEARTLESS, DISRESPTFUL, AND UNPROFESSIONAL.

Mr Wiley and his staff for years have come highly recommended. I used him for my son and four other loved ones but today my daughter, myself and my grandsons 2 female cousins presented to tour the facility to ensure adequate space for our family in the chapel. We set the appointment the day before with Mr Wiley having full knowledge that this was to tour. Once the funeral director was informed about the fact that we were looking at another facility she became rude, left the room, and Mr Wiley came in and was rude to us in a loud bully type voice informing us that and I quote "one thang you not going to do is waste my and my staff time. I'm a busy man and if you are not going with us you can go. As a matter of fact you can get your stuff and go somewhere else " we were in SHOCK at this behavior. He will not get another referral from me and i will be telling everyone about this incident.

This scum bag Mr 0 W. Wiley treated the family of Derrick Smith like our business was NOT needed or appreciated. After this family has used the funeral more than five times.With several referrals feeding his business. He can count them.(low life ) . Our family was reviewing funeral homes to see if it would fit our family size. The 1st person his funeral director was extremely rude, and unprofessional. She was not satisfied with tutoring so she went and got him. He came in the room demanding that his time not be wasted if he was not the 1st choice it was no choice and demanded that we leave. A grieving mother, grandmother, aunt, and two cousins all females. Who can count the cost of a satisfied customer and who can count the cost of an extremely dissatisfied customer. He will because word of mouth and referrals count.
