I was recently diagnosed with cancer and told I had months to live so I wanted to pre-plan my funeral because I did not want my spouse to have to deal with it. For two weeks now I have tried contacting Moseley funeral home through their website on the "Contact Us" page, I have called numerous times and left messages on their voicemail with absolutely no response whatsoever. These people are worthless, utterly worthless!

This funeral home failed to deliver flowers to my grandmother's funeral! This is unacceptable!! My family and I ordered a beautiful set of flowers (as per the request of my aunt who was in charge of the funeral) and we flew in from NY to attend only to find that our flowers were not at the funeral. Then my sister receives an email AFTER the funeral informing her that they couldn't get flowers. How could they do this? This is disgusting! They should have gone outside and picked wildflowers themselves if they couldn't get flowers from whatever place they use. They had plenty of time to order them and sort everything out. Days! This is absolutely unacceptable. No phone call. Just an email. After the fact! We were already at the airport on our way home when we found out so we couldn't even go buy flowers and bring them to my beloved grandmother. You people should immediately stop advertising that you arrange orders of the flowers for funerals. You clearly can't handle that simple task.

I really tried not to write this review because we were initially happy with Moseley Funeral Home. I even sent a thank you card for how they helped us with our father's burial at Fort Jackson. However, once the check was cashed, the service has been nonexistent. Ironically you can get a much quicker phone call if you call from a phone number they don't have for you, as when they thought it was a new customer, they responded quickly within 10 minutes. We were told the death certificate would take 10 business days and we are now over 17 business days and I cannot get a response back-either phone call or text message. My sister called and as soon as she mentioned my deceased father's name, Mr. Mosely quickly said he needed to call her back and then didn't. Dealing with a loved one's death is hard enough, you shouldn't have to chase down a funeral home to keep their end of the transaction. I paid for these death certificates, and they should be in my hand already. I will be contacting the South Carolina State Board of Funeral Service, the coroner's office, and DHEC. I don't appreciate being disrespected in this way.
