Small to Mid size funeral home. They have a few chapel rooms that can be opened and expanded to make larger rooms if needed. It can use updates on decor, furniture and a better paint job as well. This was my second time at this location about two years apart. Not much changed from my first visit here. I feel it caters more to the local community or a lower budget/income. This is only my opinion due to the looks of things. They offer a mid size parking lot also but it can get filled up pretty quickly and the neighborhood doesn't offer any help trying to find parking on the streets.

The staff at Morton Funeral Home provided excellent service for my mother's funeral. They were caring and went above and beyond to streamline a difficult process. The facilities are clean and comforting. They handled the entire process from the funeral to the plot and I was very grateful. I highly recommend Morton Funeral Home.

I’m giving this Funeral Home a 2-star review because of how my mother’s experience ended. First, the facilities are lovely, the parking is spacious, and the costs are fair and decent. However, we were disappointed and taken aback by the tone and behavior of the funeral director, Vincent, after my mother phoned him to let him know she had potentially found a less expensive funeral home for the wake of our loved one as we’d just spent $11k on a grave site and hadn’t initially anticipated those costs. As a courtesy, I asked her to phone Vincent to given him a quick update and to ask if he might accommodate on price as she and I both very much enjoyed meeting with him and his associate, and we really wanted to give Morton Funeral Home our business. I’d initially pushed for Morton as our top choice after our meeting with them yesterday, which was a fun and heart-warming experience for my mother despite the circumstances. On the call, not only was Vincent’s tone stunningly insensitive and demeaning after my mother explained her decision — (e.g. he proceeded to belittle the other funeral home’s quality and facilities, then abruptly ended the call) — it was extremely disrespectful to my mother at a time when we are still in the midst of planning a funeral and grieving the passing our loved one. I was aghast. To conclude, I really enjoyed visiting this funeral home and think its facilitates are great. However, unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed in the funeral director’s insensitivity and tone, and my extended family will likely not consider this funeral home in the future, which is a shame.
