The funeral overall went well, and the general staff was amazing. However, there were a few issues with the funeral director. It felt like she was disorganized; she didn't even know the deceased's name and had to take time to look for it. The audience had to yell it out, which was pretty embarrassing and surprising. Additionally, at the end, it felt like she rushed everyone to leave. Despite these issues, the overall service was great because of the staff and the preacher, who was quite amazing and engaging. He provided a meaningful sermon and closure. Next time, it would be best to have him open and close everything without her (the director)

I had the opportunity of seeing this team work and they do a fantastic job. If any unexpected expenses cones up that us after they have gone over everything and the family signed off on the proposal but then comes back and want to add other items or make some type of changes that would have charges going beyond what you were quoted and signed for. As I was there they were extremely nice to the grieving family, but of course you can't please everyone. Kudos to the Morgan Jones Funeral Home Staff for their professionalism.

Hands down Shirley White of Morgan & Jones Funeral Home is one of the most compassionate and straight forward people you will ever meet. She make everyone feel like family, she makes house calls anytime of the day or night. A true professional with a passion for this business. During the holidays she puts up a Christmas tree with ornaments from past families hosts dinner parties. A true gem to the community.
