This has been a wonderful place to work with! The staff is always helpful and offers support & suggestions to help you through such a difficult time. They offer complete services and print in-house too. Easy location to get to. Lisa was especially sweet and kind working with me with some of my challenging family members. She did everything right and on time. I would highly recommend!!!!

On Friday, August 23rd, we held a memorial service for my wife’s mother, Mary Lou Behm. The funeral home is beautifully decorated and designed, but what truly sets it apart is the outstanding care provided by the staff. They were attentive to every detail, ensuring that Mary Lou's final moments were honored with the utmost respect and compassion. My wife was particularly impressed by her interaction with the owner, Mary Modetz. Contrary to our expectations, there was no sales pressure. Instead, Mary worked closely with our family to create a memorial package that perfectly reflected what Mary Lou would have wanted. Ms Modetz thoughtfulness was especially evident when she suggested a more affordable cremation presentation faux cover, knowing that Mary Lou’s ashes were to be spread at her favorite spot after the service instead of being displayed in our home. The staff’s support went above and beyond, whether it was helping carry items from the car, providing photo presentation boards, setting out flowers, answering our many questions, or assisting with packing up after the memorial. We were also deeply impressed by the video picture presentation they created from the photos and music we provided; it was a beautiful tribute. The office staff quickly made copies of the video picture presentation. I was ready to run out and purchase electronic memory cards but the office staff said they had it covered and provided USB thumb drives for the presentation copies we requested, this way I wouldn't need to leave the memorial and could spend more time with friends and family remembering Mary Lou. In all honesty, this is the most thoughtfully run funeral home I have ever visited. Our family will wholeheartedly recommend Modetz Funeral Home to anyone in need of a place that truly cares for your loved one’s memory. Mary Modetz and staff, thank you for everything. It was so very appreciated. You made this day perfect for remembering, honoring and sharing laughable memories of Mary Lou Behm. EACH OF YOU made the day perfect.
