Went to school with the owner. Friends on Facebook. Contacted the funeral home numerous times prior to my mom's death. Not one phone call was returned. Contacted again last week about a check that was returned to me. When asked if I wanted someone to return my call, I stated it didn't matter as I didn't believe it would happen. Guess what! No return phone call. Thank goodness I have don't have family left in town to worry about final plans for. I sure wouldn't go back to Mitchell if I did.

My family has always used Marty an Mitchell Family Funeral Home. My parents passed in April of 05 an August of 05. I called Marty on both occasions an he handled everything perfectly. He even went to the cemetery an helped my brother an I dig the holes for the earns. Only thing bigger than Marty's heart is his caring an compassionate soul for not only the families he cares for but also the community. Calling him a class act is an understatement!!!

Unfortunately my family had to deal with death all too often the past few years. Fortunately Marty and his staff has been there to help us through this process. Very professional and so comforting and helpful. Highly recommend them. We have also been to so many friends and family Funerals there over the years, always with a hug or a hand shake making sure we were ok.
