Brittany at Milward was absolutely outstanding and I wanted to provide a shout out to her and her professionalism and customer service. We met with her in hopes to potentially use Milward, and ultimately things came down to the budget we had to work within, that we went elsewhere--however, when dealing with Brittany, she was amazing. Typically, customers rave about using their services and based on circumstances we could not, even though our family has used Milward in the past--but in dealing with Brittany during this time it made us feel at ease and was definitely comforting to encounter someone who genuinely cares. She was beyond professional, was caring and understanding of our needs, and was always able to answer questions in a prompt manner. We are happy we were able to witness wonderful care from her and this organization. Thank you!

I can’t say enough good things about Milward Funeral Directors and Angie Walters in particular. I was not in anyway prepared for my 56 year old husband to pass away. The only thing I knew for certain was that my husband wanted to be buried at Arlington National Cemetery. With that in mind, I knew that Milward had previously handled a veteran who was buried at Arlington and they had a “comfort dog”. I contacted them and from the first call on they were wonderful to work with. Angie walked us through the entire process while Gus (the black lab) provided a calming presence. We conducted the service at our church and everything was perfect. Two weeks later when my father unexpectedly passed away in Florida, I went back to Angie, at Milward, for advice. My parents lived in Florida but like my husband, my father wished to be buried at Arlington. With Angie’s expert advice we were able to make sure that the same funeral home in Arlington would handle both my husband and my father. They will be buried in Arlington National Cemetery hours apart. Milward continues to follow up with me to make sure that everything is on track. They are truly caring professionals and I highly recommend them.

Milward’s did a fantastic job. My wife was absolutely gorgeous! The makeup artist was amazing, the facility and personnel was awesome! I’m glad we chose Milward as the place to tend to my love one. I highly recommend Milward.
