I truly appreciate all the people of Miller & Daughter funeral home. They were very delicate and patient with my family during my auntie funeral a few weeks ago. They exercised extreme patience, emotional support & not to mention kindness. They were very patient in showing my cousins (the pallbearers) how to handle and place the coffin. They are very professional and kind hearted individuals. They made the funeral service very beautiful & warm, it’s such a small town business that I never would have thought in a million years would have made my aunts homegoing service what it was. From the bottom of my heart thank you all, it’s greatly appreciated.

From the moment I called Miller & Daughter at my father's bedside after he passed away to the moment he was laid to rest, my sister and I were treated with kindness and respect. The day of our appointment to make the arrangements, Myra greeted us like family. It remained that way even once I met with her to get the death certificates two weeks later. I'm a detailed-oriented person and when planning events I can become anxious wanting to ensure everything is done right. The day of my father's services, Myra handled everything so well it allowed my sister and I to be relaxed about the details of the services so that we could grieve our father without having to also be task managers/event planners. That is priceless. I would HIGHLY recommend Miller & Daughter to anyone during such a sad and stressful time. I'd also recommend showing up on time, having the appropriate decision makers present, know how much you can afford, and remain in contact with them throughout the days leading up to the service. I think no matter which mortuary you use, that would help make the experience less stressful.

I attended the funeral of my significant other of almost 5 years about a month ago, and the lady with the short hair (I don't know her name and don't really care) but how can you be in this business but not considerate of people grieving ,she came up the me twice , the first whole I was crying hysterically asking me about a mask and I didn't respond, then the second time she rudely approached me again about a mask saying if I didn't put one on I'd have to leave , it's the AUDACITY for me she came brought me a mask like 2 minutes later ,what was so hard about doing that from the beginning, it's a time and place for everything and while someone is crying over their loved one at a funeral should not be the time when you threaten to TRY to put them out, she also approved my significant other's aunt and asked her to move to the back because those seats were for the family, like THAT IS HER FAMILY, you shouldn't be doing a job like this if you lack EMPATHY AND COMPASSION, I hope you never have to feel the pain of grieving a loved one and having someone threaten to put you out the funeral. Your constant interruptions made an already devastating event even more unbearable.
