The death of a loved one is never easy! There are lots of emotions and stress. Midlothian Funeral Home was great at understanding our family’s needs and treated everyone with the utmost respect. If anyone is looking for a Funeral Home, I would definitely recommend them!!

Worst possible experience with this funeral home dealing with the death of my mother. First they lie to me saying they are not allowed to do a graveside burial per cemetery rules, which is complete nonsense as another funeral home had no issue doing it, then after writing them a check for $8300 because they made it seem like I had to immediately, they cashed it before I signed ANYTHING and went against my mothers wishes and embalmed her without any verbal or written agreement made by me. They claim I told them at my home that I said it was okay but I have two witnesses that will say otherwise and when I decided to go with the other funeral home they charged me $1150 for doing that. How is that even legal? It's unethical and disgusting how they treated me and they did all of this with zero paperwork or signatures from me. I contacted the Texas Funeral Service Commission to file a grievance on them.

Excellent service. Truett was so easy to work with in making all the funeral arrangements for our mother. Everything was planned out to perfection from the viewing to the actual funeral service to the burial. And, they made mom look as good as she has in 10 years. I can't say enough nice things about the services provided. Thank you to everyone associated with Midlothian Funeral Home.
