I would like to say that Mr. Hickman and his staff were professional from the door. He was easy to speak with and he made our aunt look like a queen for her home going service. Thank you Mr. Hickman.

I would highly recommend Mickeys Sunset for anyone who is looking for a compassionate, caring and professional service. Mr Hickman and his staff are all of that. My father was laid to rest and he looked natural as if he were sleeping. They did a fine job and the service was very nice. Beautiful words from the pastor Jay Gooding. Organist and songs from a talented singer were amazing.

My sister lost her son on October 17, 2022. As this was a sudden passing; it was certainly a devastating loss for she and our entire family. I assumed the responsibility of preparing funeral arrangements for my nephew, sight unseen, because I reside in North Carolina. Our family did not know what to expect from the services of Mickey’s Sunset but Mr. Rodney Gibbs came highly recommended. All communication between Mr. Gibbs and I were via-phone/text and emails. Mr. Gibbs was professional, polite, pleasant and extremely patient. He is the consummate mortician! On the day of the private family viewing, we were met with a very fine representation of our loved one. As a family, we walked away from the funeral services delivered by Mickey’s Sunset Funeral home; feeling heartbroken but extremely satisfied! My nephew looked absolutely AMAZING!!! He looked just as handsome, as he did in life, while lying in his final resting bed. As an entire family, we were proud to let the world have their own turn to view the AWESOME work performed by the staff at Mickey’s Sunset Funeral Home.
