Highly recommend. Great service. And people who care. 75$ for a cat cremation they did us a wonderful service. Easy and fast. Only a single sheet of paperwork with a few signatures we were done. They said that in 24-48 hrs Simba would be home. I went in at 8am and he was done by 8:56am the following day that's the time they called me. They said I could pick up whenever I was able to, so I went in at 1 because we haven't been sleeping well. We got a few hours of extra sleep and went to get him. The case for his ashes is able to open as well so we can do necklaces or whatever we choose. They also gave us a red and gold pullstring bag it was a good safe pouch for his ashes. I highly recommend this service. Our story: Simba was 15 and a half in human years and died from a respiratory sickness he was gone within a few days they made the cremation process very easy. Even emotionally. These people are great at what they do. We heard of them through River Ridge animal hospital. We had a choice to bring them to river ridge and have him picked up by mcdonald or bring him straight to the funeral home and decided just to go straight through mcdonald. A quick call and one piece of paperwork and everything was set. We went through the day and slept through the night and in the morning he was ready. Absolutely no issues or confusions. Straight and to the point. A great service.

We recently lost our fur baby and the staff were so compassionate and kind. Everything that was done for our pet was so professional and caring. We can't say enough on how caring and kind the staff were with everything they did for us, even on a Sunday they were available to do everything to help us. I highly recommend them to help you with your pets last needs

I want to thank Joe, Larry and the rest of the employees at McDonald Funeral Home. I dropped my baby Precious off yesterday about 2:36 pm yesterday and Larry called me today at 12:38 pm letting me know Precious was ready to come home. They were very kind and understanding and asked all about my lil baby. Between the services that they have provided for family members whether human or furry over the years I will never go anywhere else.
