Here is story for you . . . . . after using this place for 3 times over the years and $ 40,000 later . . . . my mother dies we give McCormick Sr. a photo for the cosmetics . . . . . at the viewing my mother was painted Mexican Dark Brown . . . . . . my mother was as white as snow in her photo and she was always that way ! ................ Needless to say I took my moms death very hard and was convinced by family friends to not make a big issue out of the incident. . . . . after the funeral 3 days or so I contacted McCormicks about the incident because I just couldn't get it out of my mind . . . . . McCormick senior took the call and told me that we would not do that . . . . meaning we would not of painted your Mom dark brown . . . . said he would get back to me in a day or so a week went by and no call . . . . . so I called back and they stated that they never did any such thing and that's all there is to it ! . . . . . . for those of you reading this think for a minute how could this happen . . . Ok . . . heres what I think happened . . . . the photo was misplaced . . . . well she has a Hispanic last name . . actually no it was Basque . . . which is French and Spanish . . . . so someone that had to do the cosmetics assumed she was Mexican . . . . . so they figured lets paint her Mexican brown . . . .. logical assumption . . . . but it was wrong and McCormicks new this and decided that they did not have to take the responsibility for it because she the deceased is now buried and there is no way to prove it ! . . . . its called the almighty Buck . . . . no business Ethics or Morals hell its just plain wrong and My family has been insulted . . . . . for anyone thinking about using this place . . . . . if you do and they perform like they did with us you deserve what you get . . . . . as for McCormick and son Mortuary . . . . lets change the name McCormick Phantasm and Son its really catchy ! Look if they had made some sort of effort to fix the situation we would not be here . . . . but no my family was further insulted by them ignoring the whole thing . . . . . . . what do they say in the business we care for your loved one. . . . I will say this I would of fired my cosmetician for that kind of mistake . . . no excuse for it . . . . but because we are talking about money as compensation . . . . . they chose to ignore this . . . . they didn't think about me I will never rest until I read that McCormick Jr. is in the ground . . . .
