Tony was so helpful when my dad passed away in February. He gave us specific instructions about what we needed to do to have Daddy's body transported from Florida, where he had been staying. He sent someone to Pittsburgh in a snowstorm to meet the plane. Tony showed compassion throughout the whole experience. He even told us how the VA honored veterans by providing a headstone. Tony ordered the headstone and set it for us. Tony also arranged for the American Legion to play TAPS at the graveside service. Daddy would have been pleased.

Tony was very professional and cared for my needs and concerns. His staff was very friendly and courteous. I will ALWAYS recommend Matics Funeral Home. On the day of my husbands funeral, Tony brought a concern to me regarding flowers that may have mistakenly been given to me. I searched the cards and none of them had anyone else's name on them. This showed me that he cares about any concern an individual may have and he quickly tried to remedy only to find out that the florist never sent the flowers.
