I am leaving this review not only to request immediate action but to warn others. My grandmother passed away in 2022, and although our family fully paid for services, we are still waiting—over two years later—for her death certificate. We have contacted the funeral home multiple times. Each time, we are given new excuses and false promises. Yvonne Smith has told us on more than one occasion that the certificate was sent or would be soon—but nothing has arrived. It’s clear that this location is disorganized, unresponsive, and completely unprofessional in handling something as sensitive as a death in the family. We need this document to take care of important family obligations and to find closure, yet we are still being ignored. This isn’t just frustrating—it’s deeply hurtful. I urge others to think carefully before trusting this funeral home with your loved one. If this is happening to us, who else is it happening to?

This funeral home as a long history with the black folks in beaufort s.c. this funeral home has prepared the bodies of my grandmother and recently my uncle. Unfortunately, attention to detail was lacking in both cases. Errors were made on my grandmother's Obituary despite the family proof reading it. This funeral home is overbooked and should consider hiring help. Yvonne is running around like a chicken with her head cut off and she's not able to give grieving family members her undivided attention. My family felt extremely rushed making decisions. veiwings are not being managed properly and families are being double booked or not even booked at all and then given unfavorable times at the last minute. black folks need to stop settling for substandard service and making exceptions for black businesses. When you hold people accountable, they typically do better!

No parent should ever have to worry or think about what funeral home they should use to have their baby taken care of. Unfortunately, we had to make that hard decision and we were so happy with our choice. Such a wonderful and professional group of people with a long history in beaufort. Thank you so much.
