Disappointed in the service provided by Mankato Mortuary. We have many out of town family and relatives that could not attend my father’s celebration of life service. We requested that the service be video taped so that others could view it after the service. The first tape we received was of very poor quality and worst of all the audio didn’t record loud enough to hear anything. When we pointed this out we were told there was nothing that could be done. However, after leaving a poor review on google the tape was somehow improved so that we could hear the service. Given the onset of Covid, the video recording of any event should be a simple matter by any standards, especially a funeral home that holds themselves out to be professionals. We are very grateful to have this video and for that reason are rating MM 3 star instead of 1star.

I had a very positive experience working with Mankato Mortuary. They were helpful in presenting options to me over several visits. My concern is that they regard all clients as Christian. It is especially evident by the large cross in the entry area. We are becoming a more diverse community and need to recognize and be respectful to many religious traditions
