My mother-in-law, Virginia McKinley, recently passed away and we scheduled a viewing and burial through Lipton Chapel. I admit, I don’t as skeptical of how she would be presented in an open casket so I came early with my box of make up to provide any touch ups. The man politely allowed me to go in and see her before everyone else arrived and I was touched by how natural and peaceful they had dressed her and done her make up. Then, they did not rush us as a family, but allowed us to say goodbye and say a few words. The traffic navigation to the burial site was incredibly organized and efficient - giving every car a ‘funeral’ tag and carefully leading the procession all the way across town to the graveside. The burial and gravesite set-up was also tastefully done and the men in charge were incredibly polite. I highly recommend Lupton Funeral Home to anyone in St. Louis looking for a tasteful and professional service. Thank you Lupton for make a difficult time so much smoother.
