The staff were professional and down to earth. From meeting with Emma at the planning/sales process to the visitation and funerals, the processes were always smooth, flawless, dignified, and lovely. The biggest pro was being allowed to identify the deceased before burial/cremation. Other funeral homes charge $300-$500+ to view and visually identify a loved one. Leonard Funeral Home allows the dignity of one last goodbye/a visual identification. Prices are very reasonable. I never felt taken advantage of. The business is clean and well kept, and the deceased were taken care of with dignity great tact. It's a pretty low stress place.

Absolutely wonderful experience. My husband and I first dealt with Leonard Funeral Home when our infant daughter passed- they were wonderful and compassionate, but not somewhere we thought we would ever have to encounter again. Fast forward, my sister in law passed and her young 20 some year old sons were lost. We brought them here and they were again nothing but compassionate. From the moment I talked to Katie on the phone I knew this was the place for them to care for their mother. She immediately agreed to meet with us asap. She was thorough, kind, and compassionate. Towards the end of our meeting, Edward walked in and introduced himself and answered more questions for us. After some time, my husband and I realized that Edward was the gentleman who assisted in burying our little girl back in 2011. It was a full circle moment and Edward was just as kind and caring as he was back then. We’re so happy to be using them for services and will recommend them to all family and friends in Dubuque.
