The actual service was nice, and my brother-in-law looked peaceful. My only complaint is, when I took my 2-year-old child out of the service to prevent him from being disruptive, one of the employees was making inappropriate parenting comments to me in the foyer. He saw us interact for 2 minutes and took it upon himself to critique me without any context to the situation in the midst of our grieving. I ignored him as my hands were full, but his tone and comments were judgemental and unappreciated. Not that it's ever ok to interject yourself into a strangers parenting, but certainly not while they're laying someone to rest. It's a shame that such a brief interaction could create such a negative experience.

I can't say enough about how satisfied we were with my parents service and the professionalism we experienced with the staff. Both parents appearances lifted our hearts. It was obvious that a lot of care was in the hearts of those who prepared them for service. We were so encouraged. Getting it right in this business I'm sure comes with many challenges. I must say Layne you nailed it. Thanks so much. The receptionist, driver, accounting staff, embalming team you nailed. If I forgot anyone you nailed it too.

Attended a viewing for a friend's aunt who transitioned from COVID. She looked serene, presented well dressed and the video slideshow of scenes from her life was joyful and comprehensive.
