Knowlton & Hewins Funeral Home have been so helpful during this process of providing Mom's final wishes and helping us to navigate all the additional followup needed after the funeral. I was attracted to Knowlton & Hewins Funeral Home because of their title, Family First. After reaching out to them to take care of my father in 2022, they proved to have earned this title. Pleased with their service, I reached out to them again in August of this year when my mother passed. She was on Home Hospice, so a mother-son duo from K & H came to the house to caringly and respectfully pick her up within one hour of me calling them, at midnight! The following day I met with Funeral Director Tommy, who greeted me warmly and made me feel cared for. He had gathered my father's information and asked if I wanted similar services for my mother, which we did. He made it so quick and easy, no upsell or litany of questions, just reassurance and respect. I then asked if he knew anything about being buried at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery and he actually knew EVERYTHING! In addition, I was so relieved not to have to drive back in to pick up my mother's ashes as Tommy had them delivered (by his lovely wife) to my home. Finally, I was really impressed with the Full Circle After Care offered as a free follow up service. My phone meeting with Kathy was very informative and I was able to utilize the links she sent to cancel unwanted adverts, check for Life Insurance Policies, and connect to reliable companies for assistance with an estate sale as well as my own estate planning. From start to finish I felt like I was in capable and caring hands during this very difficult time. I highly recommend Knowlton & Hewins to anyone going through a similar experience.

I can't even begin to describe what a wonderful experience we had. My uncle passed and I had no idea what to do. The staff at Knowlton and Hewins were incredibly caring and took care of everything. They also have a service to guide you through what to do next with his estate etc. I couldn't have made it through this sad time without their help. They also contacted me several times after to see how I was doing and if I needed anything. It was such a comfort knowing they were there to help!
