The folks there at Kilgore-Green were very helpful in helping me plan a service for my mother in law. I live out of state so at times there were several questions I had which they returned my calls very quickly to assist me if it were after hours. My mother in law had arranged her service years ago so they were able to guide me with what she wanted. They did a great job with the hair/make up as well as explaining the procedure of service at church. Very professional and helpful. Would definitely use again if needed to.

Kilgore Green is the best service! In the last 6 months I have lost my daddy and my husband. We used the other funeral home on Oakhill Road for my dad because that is where my family has always gone. It is no longer owned by the same owners. They were nice but not especially compassionate. My husband did not like them due to other experiences we had had so he told me to use Kilgore next time someone passed. I was so surprised by how much better the service planning was, the materials offered, the great compassion that was shown to me by the funeral director. It made a horrible situation so much better. They gave me a packet of material that included a checklist for things I needed to do after a death, local grief support groups and there phone numbers, 5 copies of the video we had put together of pictures to share with his family. And, they have followed up with 2 phone calls to check on me and offer support. It is a first class operation and during the most difficult time of my life a true blessing. They made sure that the service was what I wanted and did not allow me to stress about anything, they took care of me, my family, and my beloved spouse. They went far above and beyond what we expected in all aspects of the services provided. No detail was overlooked, and everything was handled with dignity and professionalism.
