I have prepared a few funerals in Kingston throughout the years. This is the first time using Joseph Leahy Funeral Home, and I am so glad that I did. This funeral was for my mother and, of course, it was emotional and my bandwidth was limited. Bernie and his staff were phenomenal. They took so much off my shoulders and it turned out to be a beautiful celebration of my mother's life. Everyone in the family felt comfortable right down to the children. From the building accommodations to the mass and even the drive in the limos to the mausoleum, it was all comforting and so fitting for the vibrant woman she was. It means a lot when we can grieve the loss of our loved ones. It is evident that Bernie and his son and staff were meant to help families and loved ones during this time.

My older brother passed away Saturday, and Will met with me and my sister this morning to help us through the process of dealing with everything. Will couldn't have been more knowledgeable and personable. We are so grateful for his help. I highly recommend this funeral home when you are in need! Thank you so much, Will!

On January 14, 2024 my mother passed away and this loss hit us hard. As her children sat prayed and said our goodbyes , we knew that Joseph Leahy Funeral Home would be there to help us through this sorrowful time. However, William Leahy did much more . His compassion, patience and genuine concern helped us through this very difficult loss. He sat with us, discussed all the options and was there with answers to the many questions we had. We will forever remember their professional, reasonable and sincere respect with our mother's passing.
