I chose Palmer Funeral Home to receive my father from a FH in Illinois, en route to his final disposition in Charleston. I wanted a FH here in Sumter to receive him, as I wanted to ensure that he was properly arranged in his casket before burial. The staff could not have been more gracious and kind. I know I was at my worst, but they took it in stride with a smile. Now that I am past the shock of it all, I want to express my gratitude for the care that Palmer FH staff provided my father and myself. I am a perfectionist when it comes to important matters, and they got Everything right. The programs that they helped me design, exceeded my expectations. They recommended the florist. I was even able to have a dove released at the end of the service. The service was also live streamed to the family members that weren’t able to make it to the burial. My Dad was the most hard working man I ever met; and they helped me honor him, in every way possible. I would recommend, no Highly recommend, Palmer Funeral Home. If you want to honor your loved one; they will make it so. All of this and a fair price too!

Palmer Memorial Chapel -provided excellent care and service to our family as we prepared to say good bye to our beloved matriarch Vermell Edwards. They were always available and willing to answer any questions or concerns. With a very large family it is not always easy to be heard, the Palmers managed to honor our wishes without offending extended family members. That certainly is not an easy task. In many ways they felt like extended members of our family. We have used Palmer Memorial Chapel for two family members and although we are not anxious to lose anyone else, we would definitely use Palmer Memorial Chapel again.
