4.5 stars Fully acceptable service at Kirby on Lovers Lane. Staff is usually very compassionate and helpful during a family's time of need. They will obviously show you the "Cadillac" package and options as you plan for your loved ones final arrangements, when as humans you tend to make emotional decisions, ... when you may have a "Kia" budget, but that is the nature of the funeral business. Chapel area is top notch and can accommodate large funerals, of course they will host at your church of choice. Limos are late model and look nice. They do a good job with your loved ones' final presentation.

Most helpful with both my mother’s and my husband’s funerals. David Bevil listened to what we wanted and everything was done perfectly and professionally. Everyone I came in contact with there was kind and helpful.

I would normally say that the staff of JC Kirby is very considerate of the needs of those that are experiencing loss but not this time. I attended the funeral of a family member recently at the Lovers Lane location. I understand that we are still dealing with the whole Covid thing but when there are family members, BLOOD RELATIONS, that are pleading to get in to the room to attend the funeral of their loved one and being denied entry because the staff won't ask non-relatives to leave is a disgraceful thing to do and experience. Myself and plenty of other family members asked the staff to help with this and were simlly told to either wait in the other room or stay outside. That is one of the most disrespectful things I've ever had to experience. The spouse of the deceased even asked them to help and they did nothing. Deplorable, despicable and disgusting. I hope they see this and feel terrible.
