I would like to start by thanking Mr. Johnny Martinez/Funeral Director at James P. Byrnes Funeral Home. I recently lost my Aunt unexpectedly in a matter of days & was left to make her funeral arrangements. Several years ago I moved my family out to Southeastern PA from living in Gerritsen Beach Bklyn for over 40 years. Since moving I was now faced with the task of figuring out how to get my Aunt transported from PA out to the cemetery in Long Island where she wished to be her final resting place with the rest of our beloved lost family members. Thankfully I called Byrnes Funeral Home and was greeted over the phone by a true gentleman. Heartbroken, I explained the circumstances to Mr. Martinez and he immediately comforted me and reassured me he was going to take care of everything. He was so patient and kind and addressed all of my questions and concerns with the utmost dignity & respect! He kept in constant communication with me & provided me with his expertise and options for her final goodbye. Everything was arranged, the staff at Byrnes was amazing & it was a beautiful send off for my Aunt Nancy. I cannot thank Mr. Martinez enough for his professionalism, true kindness & the peace of mind he gave me during such a difficult time. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Johnny and all the staff at James P. Byrnes were so supportive of myself and my family during the loss of my Mom. I was not prepared to deal with the reality of the tasks that were ahead of me but Johnny was there every step of the way. He was available night and day to respond to my many questions and concerns.
