I want to Thank Ryan's Funeral Home for their kind, caring empathy towards myself but mostly to my son. Kathy Ryan is one of the most sincere people when it comes to losing a loved one. I would recommend Ryan's Funeral Home to anyone suffering the . Loss of a Family member/Friend. Kathy is not only empathetic towards your feelings, she is very professional. I thank her and her staff for being there when we needed them most. Thank you Kathy, with all my heart. Nella.

I was shocked to see the Funeral director for my brothers memorial dressed in a blouse, jeans & sandals. At the end of the service there was no pray at all. I was shocked to learn that the funeral home that my nephew had purchased, sent my Nephew a gold-plated necklace which had a Baseball attached which contained a few of my brothers ashes . She mail it a regular envelope, no box, not return receipt just a regular fifty cent stamped envelop. When my nephew revived the envelope no necklace was in the envelope torn open with a postal office stamp stating item is missing. When my nephew advised her of the missing necklace she request my nephew to pay an additional $180.00 & to bring my brothers ashes back so then could put some ashes in the new necklace. So they want my nephew to pay for there Incompetence & Negligence. Now some unknown person is wearing my brothers ashes . Terrible & incompetence way to send a loved one ashes.

Dear Mr. R. Shoentube, First let me start by saying I am not a funeral director. I have never worn jeans and sandals to any viewing or memorial service. When your nephew first came in to make arrangements, it was discussed about having a religious service and he said he did not want one. We can not just go in the room and do prayers if the family in charge does not want them said. As far as the necklace goes, it was discussed when your nephew came here for the memorial that the necklace should be giving to his brother and not mailed. He stated it was fine to mail it. The item was placed in a small black pouch in an envelope. He was notified that it was mailed. I'm sorry you feel that the service here was poor, but your nephews were very pleased, because both of them have called here and advised us of that.
