From the moment of walking through the doors up until our exit the staff at this establishment went out of their way to help us understand and execute on this difficult process. Affordable and considerate the atmosphere was warm and inviting as can be for the setting. Once again thanks to the staff for bringing some order to this difficult time.

I spoke to the owner, Mary, over a year ago to make arrangements for my brother when he entered hospice. The arrangements were through Cremation Society of Mid Michigan and through Hyatt Ewald Funeral home. My brother passed away Dec 2, 2021 and I informed the hospital that arrangements were already set up. However, when I spoke to Grace to confirm the previously made arrangements, they were entirely different than what we had confirmed prior. I explained to her I didn't understand why after planning so thoroughly ahead, suddenly the plans were completely different and much more expensive. She was incredibly rude and argumentative; instead of explaining whatever miscommunication there was or why it changed, she instead was berating me stating that just because I lost somebody, it didn't give me the right to be rude. Not only was there much confusion and last minute changes on things that were finalized months ago, but their demeanor and attitude towards their clients are completely unacceptable. Find another funeral home.

Hyatt has always brought such comfort during any family troubling times I highly recommend them they're with you every step of the way.
