Marty Mills such an asset to this company, a true God sent man fulfilling his true purpose here on 🌎 earth. My daughter lost her best friend today, her feline friend, her heart was shattered seeing her everything lying lifeless in the road hit by a car as she loaded the bus for school, she frantically text her father to go see if what she most feared was inevitably the truth. We picked her up inconsolable from school as she held her baby for the last time cleaning him gently and saying her final goodbyes. She didn't want to let him go and said turning him over to Marty she felt like he was so professional and caring she knew he was in good hands. We never knew that your funeral home also helped with our furry family members as well and thanks to Marsha and Marty and all you do, she can bring a piece of her heart back home with her thanks to your pet cremation services. Forever in debt to your ever caring staff. You made a horrible day bearable for a broken hearted little girl and we can never repay you.

I recently lost my grandfather. My grandmother chose to use this funeral home because they have a reputation with people her age for being "the nicest." She must have meant with the nicest people- not the nicest facilities. Everyone was so kind... However, I would think that if they charge $8200 per funeral they could replace the carpet that is so worn that I thought it may be the exact same carpet that was there when my other Grandpa died 30 years ago. Or perhaps they might have something better than Wal-mart brand soap in the restroom.... Also, we had to keep finding an attendant to get small bottles of water for my grandmother and crippled uncle. I was not the only person who thought that it should be available in the "coffee room."

The workers here are amazing! I had to switch funeral services to Hughey's because I was intially suggested a different place. It was horrible. They were so rude and uncaring, so I went to Hughey's. What a difference. The owner was so sensitive and it was obvious this sort of caring for people's suffering is his passion. He made the whole process a lot easier, especially when I was at the worst place in life. It was only a tiny bit more expensive, but I would have paid anything to be treated like that, in that situation. I seriously can not say enough good about this place. If someone you love has passed recently, I would go here first. You'll see why. In case someone is interested, it was $2000 for cremation, a service, thank you card, guest book, etc. He also let us pay half, and the rest in small payments.
