I was at my uncle's viewing and funeral on 8/24/18 and 8/25/18 and it was a very horrible bad experience for our family. At the viewing of the body the flowers got there at 5:45 pm when the viewing started at 4:00p.m. Prayer cards got there at 8:30 p.m. because my uncle's name was misspelled, and the viewing was over at 9pm. The funeral home was so crowded and so small, no one fitted. And then the day of the church, Mrs Hudson forgot to call the church and confirm and give the church my uncle's information. After my aunt had already called the church for the owner, all Mrs. Hudson had to do was call the church and give my uncle's information and never did. The day of the church Mrs Hudson told my aunt she tried her best to get a hold of the church and the church never answered. The day of the church Mrs Hudson finally went across the Street were the church was to make arrangements while family and friends waited at the funeral home and church, when church was supposed to start at 9:00 a.m.. My other aunt talked to the priest and begged the priest to please have the mass for my uncle and he agreed to do it! And then instead of putting my uncle in the Hearse and go around the block to park in front of the church to get my uncle out and into the church. The owner had all the pallbearers carry my uncle across the street and up the stairs of the church, and my uncle's body was so heavy they had to put him on the floor because Mrs Hudson took so long to bring the bier ( the stand where the coffin sits on.)to them. Church finally started at 9:55 a.m. It was the worst experience our family had! I don't recommend anyone to have their loved one at this funeral home! No one should ever have to have the experience that I and my family had!

The hudson funeral home was a so pleasant from start to finish. They helped me organize everything and was very attentive with my love one needs. I'm really happy they was there to help. Thank you once again.
