Hope Chapel has a an amazing staff and has served the community for 30 years. The funeral home is warm and inviting and the staff treats you like family. They have three chapels one of which can be used for a reception space.

I had the pleasure of working with John, who was personable, attentive, and kind. John displayed a sense of enthusiasm and passion for his work derived from the people he helps and the closure he provides. My mother died unexpectedly at a nursing facility without life insurance. This left my siblings and I to pay for everything, which is something that should not be a consideration when taking care of end of life affairs for your loved one. Hope Memorial waived the viewing fee for our mother, which was a great kindness. The experience and care of detail for the viewing was as fulfilling and professional as could be anywhere. I was impressed; and the care that my mother, and the closure that all of us, received was provided in no small part due to Hope Memorial. From the first time someone picked up the phone when I was calling to make arrangements to the necessary paperwork and to the viewing, Hope Memorial made the process easy. Further, Hope Memorial made us feel like someone else cared. While we have not yet received our mother's ashes due to how recent her death was, I have no doubt the cremation will have been handled with the same level of exceptional professionalism embodied by those at Hope Memorial. This was my first time having to make arrangements for an immediate family and loved one. Aimee was exceptional in helping my family and I plan for my mother's wake, funeral, and burial on short notice (03/28/2022). Our initial conversation of many, Aimee was able to explain and do an apples-to-apples comparison with what I was quoted from multiple funeral homes. It is important to note that I reside in the greater Boston area and I felt like I was present during each step of the process as if I was located in Maine with my entire family. Since my mother passed away peacefully at MassGeneral, Aimee was able to effectively communicate with all parties involved and even coordinated the transportation of my mother over 100 miles well in advance for a Sunday temple service which preceded the wake, funeral, and burial services on Monday.
