I cannot recomend this place. It is not properly prepared to professionnally attend to a greiving family. In the passing of my step daughter Sharika Finch we used this place. It was not our décision. Sharika had 6 half siblings, father, and a 13 year old son. Not one time did this place meet with us all to discuss anything but the bill. Her father and son did not receive one card that was addressed to us from our friends.I was told very rudely that it went to the family (2 half sisters) we did not even get a flower. Not once did the reguard her father and other siblings except for bill. When hér body was picked up from hospice by an elderly man he almost dropped her, if it werent for the nurse she would have hit the floor. He did not speak or console the family. It was by far the worst expérience i have ever encountered. Ms Rose was the only person I can say was nice. I would not recomend this place. I cannot even say a funeral home because it does not professionally qualify. This is just a few of the issues i have with thèm. This was my husbands oldest child. I thank God i was able to change some things. I wont even address how the embalmed her body. That was a total disaster. Her on son didnt recognize her. I pray yal hire younger or more capable staff. Rude secrétary that needs instructions on attitude adjustments, professionnalism. Im sorry this place was used because our daughter deserved better. The End😥😥😥

Hood Funeral Home has helped our family with dealing with home going celebrations since I was a little girl and they always go above and beyond ! Always professional ,courteous,caring, understanding, and sympathetic !
