I thought I would be planning a first birthday before a funeral for my son.. but God had other plans. The staff at Higgins Funeral home were so amazing to work with through out the process. They were so accommodating and understanding. For anyone looking for a funeral home… this is one I would 10/10 recommend!

Jeff Higgins (both Senior and Junior) took great care of our family during our recent need for them. The family had been using Hunter - Allen - Myhand since they first opened. This was our first experience since they were acquired by Higgins. Everything was perfect. Jeff (Senior) at our initial meeting outlined everything to expect and was upfront about everything. Jeff (Junior) handled the visitation and funeral. Everything was smooth and painless. That is important at such a time. They did an excellent job preparing Mama for the viewing. She looked very natural. It was also great dealing with a non-corporate funeral home. We did not need to work within corporate policies. They handle a few idiosyncratic requests quite well. Indeed, it harkened back to the days of when Hunter - Allen - Myhand was small-town, locally owned funeral home. I highly recommend them.
