I cannot stress enough how very favorably impressed I am with Herring, and with every interaction I had with anyone here. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Herring; I cannot think of a single they could have done to improve my experience with them. Until now, I've never dealt with a funeral home in regards to a person; I've dealt with animal cremations with crematories in the past, and sadly, not all of those were positive interactions, and one of those was the epitome of the stereotypical nightmare. I'm well aware of difficulties many people often seem to have with funeral parlors, and I was so apprehensive about having to go through this kind of ordeal myself; however, everyone at Herring was kind and compassionate (completely irrelevant, but they also seem to be very good and kind people) from the gentlemen who came for pickup to everyone with whom I interacted at the actual place of business and via the phone. There was no hard upselling, nobody tried to convince me to do things differently, no bad vibes, just... people being kind and helping me through one of the most horrible and difficult things I've ever had to do, during one of the most awful times of my life, and trying to make it as easy for me as possible. I wish so much that nobody ever had to go through the experience of putting their loved ones to rest, but if you have to go through this experience yourself, I am really glad I chose to use Herring Funeral Home, and if I had to do it over again, I would choose them again.
