They did a great job for my deceased Mother-in-Law today. We ordered flowers through them and they were great. They even went through the trouble of doing a live-feed of her mass for those who couldn’t attend. Very professional and courteous. Highly recommended.

While I don't usually write reviews I saw the only review for HD Oliver Norfolk Chapel was a neighbor and felt anyone who wanted to consider this funeral home should read about their service to the family. I chose HD Oliver for my Mother's funeral and they were excellent. They are the only local funeral home, to my knowledge, that has someone on site at all time and that was very important to me. They made me feel very comfortable that they could be entrusted with the most precious person in my life. They provided excellent recommendations for a superb vocalist and organist and their chapel is beautiful. The staff was respectful and extremely professional. Everything about this funeral home is nice and it was also convenient to Forest Lawn. Highly recommend them.

I never thought I would write a review of a funeral home, but this is the place that was recommended to me after my husband shot himself. I was out of my mind with grief. We were all inconsolable and bills were paid without any review of charges and costs. Once I came to my senses (about 12 months later), I hit the roof when I reviewed the bill from H. D. Oliver Funeral Home. That money is long gone, and there's not a thing in the world I can do about it now, but I would not recommend this place.
