Hawker funeral home helped us through the death of our son. They were patient and kind. Always listened to what we wanted. Very supportive. I highly recommend them.

My husband died recently and the whole experience was horrible from the beginning. I never received a call he was ready for viewing from coroner or funeral home. I found out other family had been seeing him for a few days without making sure I was with them or calling me! I never got an apology. The owners son tried to get me to sign a new contract after the cremation had happened, when I asked for an email of both the original contract and the new one he initially tried to talk me out of seeing the attorney and just coming in he only sent the original and stopped responding to texts. They also tried to treat the situation as if to sell the ashes to the highest bidder because I had to come up with the money (a few days after) and another family member was trying to buy the ashes to keep them and he was ALL for it! The secretary also very rude, unprofessional and inconsiderate she belongs in a different field her and the son. I will be filing complaints with every board and the BBB 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!!! Also they did give it to me for free but after telling them 3x which urns they only ever got the 3 smalls they NEVER added the big urn. The secretary decided to snap at me when I asked why it wasn’t on there and then which I asked her if she knew how I felt she looked down and said no I don’t I proceeded to tell her I hope you never lose your husband and have the funeral home screw everything up and then try to sell the ashes to another family member. The disrespect to have when someone is grieving!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We were well taken care of with my daughter that passed in December 2023. Loved the way they helped in everyway. Respectfully and Mannerly. Thank You All At Hill Hawker.
