This is a long overdue review from 2021 and December 2019 in between COVID. Hardesty Funeral Home in Annapolis did a wonderful job preparing for our funeral for both my father and mother. They coordinated with the Veterans Cemetery and helped provide us flexibility with our dates. They were honest and respectful, and reasonably priced. Their fees were detailed and not hidden which I appreciated. The people were wonderful and low key allowing us to feel like we were in our own space/home without the stuffiness I have seen at a some other places. The parking lot was easy to get in and out of.

Jim and his team are running a first class operation here at Hardesty in Annapolis. We were beyond thankful for Jim’s guidance, his compassion, and his expertise as we navigated the recent loss of my beloved grandfather. Every single staff member we encountered was professional, courteous, and accommodating. This profession is certainly a calling- and we were fortunate to experience the tact, grace, and skillset exhibited by Jim over the last week. Thank you.

Jim Govoni and his staff made all arrangements for the funeral mass, wake and burial for my wife Mary Ellen in 2009 and for my son Tom in December 2023. Jim's personal care and attention to Tom's family and friends throughout helped us to bear the unbearable. Jim, thank you so much -- from Tom's dad.
